Lifeguard (Y & City Pool) - This position is responsible for the supervision and safety of swimmers in the swimming pool
Requirement: 15 years of age and older
Daycare (Full & Part Time)(Y & Cardinal Corner) – This position ensures the safety of the children attending the center, assist the lead teacher, and properly clean and close the classroom.
Requirement: High School Diploma
Camp Counselor (Summer) - This position is responsible for the health, safety and varied camp programs for campers. Each counselor is responsible for the development of a designated program area along with the upkeep and inventory of equipment.
Requirement: 15 years of age and older
Before & After Care (School Year) - This position ensures the safety of the children attending the program. Provide a variety of activities each day in the seven developmental areas. Keep children engaged in productive activities and assist them in exploring new activities. This program is ran out of the schools of Champaign County.
Requirement: High School Diploma
Building Supervisor - This position is responsible for providing excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the Y. Maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures for the facility and act responsibly in emergencies
Requirement: 18 years of age and older
Fitness Instructor - This position will be responsible for designing and implementing safe and effective fitness classes for all participants.
Swim Instructor - This position is responsible for providing direct leadership, instruction and motivation for students in swimming classes and the supervision and safety of swimmers in the swimming pool.
Requirement: 14 years of age and older
