Nationwide Membership

Nationwide Members are welcome at our Y!

The Champaign Family YMCA is for all - and that include members from other Ys across the country.  YMCA Nationwide Reciprocal Membership means that Y members are welcome at any participating YMCA in the United States. Whether you work in our community or are visiting for a short time, we want to help you keep your health and fitness routine on track. When visiting the Champaign Family Y, we ask that reciprocal members keep the following policies in mind:

Champaign Family YMCA Nationwide Reciprocal Member Policy

• Nationwide Membership is valid for active, full facility YMCA members whose home Y participates without restriction or blackout periods 
• Nationwide members must present an active YMCA membership card to be admitted; ages 16 and over must present a photo ID as well
• Third party program members (Silver Sneakers, Silver and Fit, and the like) are not eligible for Nationwide Membership
• Nationwide member visitors must use their home Y at least 50% of the time; frequent visitors may be invited to transfer their membership
• Nationwide reciprocal members will be considered non-members when registering for fee-based programs at their non-home Y
• Nationwide members are welcome to attend any FREE classes, if class size permits; when space is limited, paying members of the Champaign Family YMCA will have priority
• The Champaign Family YMCA reserves the right to deny access to any area (gym, ftness center, pool) or to the Y in general during unusually busy periods or when programs are in progress
• All visiting nationwide members are screened against the national sex offender database; registered offenders will not be admitted
