URBANA CITY POOL – 2027 SEASON

The Urbana City Pool generally opens Memorial Day weekend and remains open through Labor Day, weather permitting. Additional information about the 2027 season, including opening day, season passes, daily admission, swim lessons, and special activities will be announced soon.

REGULAR POOL HOURS

Season Pass Holders:

Monday–Saturday: 12:00–7:00 PM
Sunday: 1:00–7:00 PM

Daily Admission Guests:

Monday–Saturday: 12:30–7:00 PM
Sunday: 1:00–7:00 PM

Hours are subject to change because of weather, staffing, special events, or other circumstances.

SEASON PASSES AND DAILY ADMISSION

Season-pass and daily-admission prices for the 2027 season will be announced soon.

Daily guests must complete a Guest Card before their first visit. A parent or legal guardian must complete the card for anyone younger than 18.

Please note: The Champaign Family YMCA manages the Urbana City Pool under contract with the City of Urbana. A Champaign Family YMCA membership does not include admission to the City Pool.

YMCA SWIM LESSONS

Group swim lessons are offered in two-week sessions during the summer.

The first swim-lesson session is free for City Pool season-pass holders. Additional session information, schedules, registration dates, and 2027 pricing will be announced soon.

Private swim-lesson opportunities may also be available.

POOL PARTIES AND PRIVATE RENTALS

Interested in booking a pool party?

Reservations for the 2027 season are expected to begin in May 2027. Rental dates, times, rates, and reservation requirements will be announced before reservations open.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can my child visit the pool without a parent?

Children who are permitted to visit without an adult must have a Guest Card completed by a parent or legal guardian before entering the pool. The card includes emergency-contact information and a liability waiver.

Can I bring food and drinks to the pool?

Food and nonalcoholic drinks are permitted. Alcohol and glass containers of any kind are prohibited. Concessions are also available.

Is admission to the City Pool included with my YMCA membership?

No. The Champaign Family YMCA manages the City Pool under contract with the City of Urbana. YMCA membership does not provide admission to the City Pool.
